Yanmar B12 Mini Digger

Hi, You are looking at a Yanmar B12 Mini Digger (no VAT). Arguably the best make of mini digger available both then and now. Mine for the last 14 years and 2,400 hours (3,200 hours recorded now). Handy size (being a B12) because it only weighs 1.25 tonne. So will fit in or on most makes of 3.5 tonne vans or flatbeds.

Indeed, I used to take it everywhere in the back of my long wheel base transit van with the canopy off (5 minutes work). Ideal for self build or export. Good points: 1. Very sweet engine, starts very well. Doesn't use water, oil or overheat.

Tracks in a straight line and does what it says on the tin.2. Serviced every 200 hours in my ownership, oil / filters etc. 3. Had a hydraulic oil change approximately 100 hours ago. Serviced (oil / filters) only 20 hours ago.4. New tracks, new starter motor and a recent very comfortable seat fitted.5.

Very good battery. Bad points: 1. Tatty appearance.2. No attempt made to paint it to look good in the photos, unlike a lot of others I see on classifieds board. 3. Play in pins and bushes and a very slight weep on one of the rams.4.

All fairly simple jobs if you know what you're doing and it bothers you, but would go straight to work as it is.5. Don't forget you are looking at a 25 year old mini digger, not a new one. Only for sale because I found another mini digger (Yanmar obviously) that had only done 1,100 hours, which was too good an opportunity to miss. I kept the one I'm selling as backup, but haven't needed it in the last year or so, hence the sale. Viewing recommended and indeed encouraged.
