Hello and thank you for taking the time to look our listing! Description: Front half of a 1987 Volvo BM 5350 Articulated Dump Truck. Clock showing 13,895 hours (please see photo).The truck runs, stops and drives fine. The valve for the tipping ram has seized (we believe due to it not being used for a while – tipped when we bought it) The tipping ram itself still works and tips. (we made up a hose to check it using the hydraulics on the Unimog)Video of the truck being driven uploaded.

There is not currently a seat (we do have one for it) in the truck so excuse the poor driving due to me balancing on one leg whilst the other was in the accelerator..Engine is by far the best part of this truck – it runs fantastically – in my mind you would never think it was 36 years old! Truck goes through all forward gears and reverse.Cab is rusty inside and out. I have replaced two hoses for the steering rams as one decided to explode whilst I was moving it. Hydraulic fitter said he was surprised about the good condition of the other hoses he could see. When looking for parts in the past for this truck I have seen how much they go for – eye watering in some cases.

I have tried to price this sensibly so there is money in it for someone to break, sell and make a profit or for someone to put in their yard to keep for spare parts. Or, fix the hydraulic valve and you have yourself a cheap dump truck! Collection only 20% VAT to be added to the final sales price.
