Volvo Akerman 9.6 Ton H3B Excavator Digger Ackerman Lgp Steel Tracks 3 Buckets

Up for sale is our Akerman H3B 9 1/2 ton digger. We purchased this to move a lot of muck on the farm which built up over around 10 years  which it has done with phenomenal ease. It was the Dealer Demonstration model and was up rated with turbo, a huge dozer blade, and very wide Low ground pressure steel Tracks. It has an electric grab swivel switch inside so you can switch between arm slew and swivel when the switch is moved. It's not piped up for swivel though.

It has burst hose protection on the main lifting ram, Twin tracking speed with override on joystick for dozing and slewing  It has the optional floating boom feature which can be activated for loading on hard surfaces or using a grab, to stop it digging into the floor or lifting the machine, this cuts down on wear and banging hydraulic Rotation lock for the upper machine. Slew lock  It has a selection lever to divert pressure from the 3 Hydraulic pumps to work whichever particular action you want.   Normal operation has one pump works 2 functions, this though enables very heavy loads to be lifted or pushed, or a big breaker or shear to be used to its maximum pressure. It's an old machine but if you know anything about Akerman you know they are classed as the best built machines of any make. And built to last.

This is a very sturdy strong machine. The engine has recently been rebuilt with new shells, pistons and liners, and has only run around 8 hours since The engine rebuild cost just over £2000 the Receipts from James Troop (Penta/Volvo) for the parts will be provided. So it starts first time just as it was built to. It's powered by a Volvo Penta TD31ACE 4 cylinder turbo engine and has 4 independent hydraulic pumps. 24v electrical system.

The cab is fully glazed and also heated  Via the twin speed heater.
