DESCRIPTION A quick drying industrial enamel with an excellent gloss, Tradepaints Rapid Dry Enamels give a tough, durable finish with outstanding adhesion suitable for interior and exterior applications on suitably prepared metal and timber surfaces. SURFACE PREPARATION Remove any rust, scale, dirt, weld slag or old paint by grinding, wire brushing or sanding. Ensure surface to be painted is clean, dry and free from any grease, oil, etc. Using metal cleaning and etching fluid. Thoroughly sand existing paint surfaces to remove all surface gloss.

Apply one coat of an appropriate primer where necessary. Tradepaints Super Etch Primer for nonferrous surfaces or Tradepaints Industrial Primer for most other metal surfaces. APPLICATION Stir thoroughly before and during use with a flat bladed stirrer. Apply by either conventional or airless spray equipment. Apply 2 – 3 coats with an even, overlapping pattern, leaving 5 minutes drying time between coats.

THINNING AND CLEAN UP For conventional spray guns, the product may be reduced up to 15% with Tradepaints Spraying Enamel Thinners. Wash all equipment with Tradepaints Spraying Enamel Thinners immediately after use. COVERAGE Spread rate - 12 to 14 sq. Metres per litre per coat. DRYING Touch dry: 30 minutes at 20oC Hard dry: 24 hours at 20 oC Should recoating be necessary, allow 48 hours drying before spraying further coats.

COLOURS Range of colours available. CAUTIONS Flammable liquid – keep away from sources of ignition and naked flames. No smoking. Harmful by inhalation, contact with skin and if swallowed – avoid contact with the skin and eyes and avoid breathing the vapours. Provide adequate ventilation in enclosed areas during application and until fully dried.
