Bucyrus-Erie 1:50 Model 40-H Hydraulic Excavator And B-E Color Brochure

This is the promotional model distributed by Bucyrus-Erie for its 40-H Hydraulic Excavator, along with an original copy of the accompanying B-E color brochure and black and white Hydraulic Excavator Specifications. The 1:50 model was made by NZG Modelle in West Germany, and consists of highly detailed die-cast metal components with rubber crawler treads and transparent plastic glazing in the operator’s cab. The unit rotates on the underframe and the boom and bucket are fully articulated, just as the original. There are no paint chips or scratches and all decals are complete and undamaged. The six-page color brochure is complete and undamaged with the exception of a 1/2” tear at the bottom of one fold; the four-page black and white specification sheet is complete and undamaged - there are no folds or marks of any kind on either.

As far as we know, the model did not come with a box. 13” long, with boom and bucket fully extended; 8” high, with boom and bucket fully raised (2-3/4” to the top of the operator’s cab); 3-1/4” wide across the treads. The model is in absolutely original condition and is undamaged in any way. There are no dates on the model or on either brochures.
