Vintage Poclain Memorabilia - Poclain Thermometer - Excavator 1000CK , EC1000

This is a great item for anybody who drove or was associated with the use of the large Poclain Excavators I can vouch for the age of this as it came to one of our sites in West Yorkshire where we had bought both a Poclain 1000CK and an EC1000. I assume it was a gift from the sales and support people from Poclain. It has a few minor surface scratches on the red plastic body but there are no cracks and there is no rubbing to any of the white printed lettering or to the Poclain name and logo. Size 40cm tall , 8cm wide The band at the bottom has been replaced as it was always held in by a piece of wire as the original red tab broke when it was removed to wash it " when I pinched it back in the 80's it was covered in site dust". I am prepared to post this and will pack it carefully, I have owned this since the early 80's and the machines came in the early 70's so it is probably getting on for 50 years old now so I do not want to see it damaged , it sat on my office wall all my working life , but it is time to let somebody else have it who perhaps owned or drove a Poclain - I beleive there are still a couple that have been renovated and still run !
