PiXel Template PLANS FOR 2 WHEEL DIGGER AND DRAFT 4 WHEEL DRIVE MINI DIGGER PLANS. DESIGNS TO BUILD (NOT ACTUAL DIGGER) VERY SPECIAL OFFER DRAFT 4WD DRAWINGS INCLUDED. THIS ITEM WILL BE SENT ELECTRONICALLY OR BY CD NO RETURNS DUE TO NATURE OF PRODUCT DESCRIPTION As well as shipping to the Australia we have also sent plans to UK, Europe, Japan, Brazil, India and we can send to any other country too so please buy with confidence. We are pleased to offer these PLANS, there are excavator manufacturers and suppliers in Australia so sourcing the parts will not be a problem. There are 3D drawings (metric) for a 360 degree continuous rotation mini digger.
This two wheeled mini excavator has 360 degree slew and solves digging, trenching and excavating problems. Accessing remote locations and narrow gaps it is only 30” wide and as it weighs 550 lbs it can be towed over rough terrain by a quad bike or 4WD with ease. It can also be towed on road. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE ALSO INCLUDING 4 WHEEL DRIVE MACHINE WHICH HAS 355 DEGREE SLEW. THIS WILL CONSIST OF DRAWINGS AND THE SLEW WILL BE LIMITED TO A 355 DEGREE SLEW BY MEANS OF A MECHANICAL STOP.
WE HAVE MADE 2WD VERSIONS OF THIS MACHINE AND A VIDEO CAN BE SEEN AT www.powerfabinnovations.co.uk OR ON OUR OTHER LISTINGS. HOWEVER THIS 4WD WOULD BE A DEVELOPMENT PROJECT WE HAVE NOT YET MADE THE 4WD The 2 wheel version when on site uses its hydraulic excavating arm to pull itself forward, backwards or side to side. As it is 360 degree it can then dig over its wheels and utilise the rear spades as anchors resulting in a very good tearout force. It is ideal for homeowners, farmers, landscapers, plumbers and contractors. The APPROXIMATE specification is a 1 tonne digging force, 4'11” digging depth and dumping height, 360 degree slew, 9hp petrol engine or option for diesel, Width 30”.
For a small charge the specification can be changed to suit your application. You can see in the photographs machines that we have manufactured in the UK, a deep dig 7ft version, a machine at an agricultural show and also a machine that was made in Canada by a customer who purchased our plans this year. We supply the drawings on PDF so you can easily print them out, they detail the fabricated parts dimensions and type of material. The parts are drawn with 3D CAD software and be in step files which can be viewed with Inventor, Solid works or a number of other free programes available online. We can supply you files and a link to free software so you can view the digger on your computer.
You can rotate the digger 360 degrees and zoom in and measure different parts, this really helps visualise the product. You could also make modifications to the digging depth, width etc to suit your requirements. We will send these files to you by email, CD and drop box, so you can start as soon as possible. The information will include detailed description of how to build the parts of the product e.g. How to build the bucket and animations (videos) of how the slew fits together.
The fabrication. Most of these parts like the digging arm and chassis are made from basic box sections and plates. These can be bought cut to size direct from local steel suppliers. A local welder can weld them up within a day or two. Material costs around a few hundred pounds.
However if you get stuck on one part and want us to make it for you we would charge $450 (plus shipping) for a complete main part such as the boom or the dipper or the chassis. Our plans are detailed though so if you have basic fabrication knowledge or know a local welder you should be fine. The slew hub (two parts) which are machined can be purchased from ourselves for $450 (plus shipping) but again give the drawings to a local machinist in your area, the diameter of the biggest part is only 6” diameter so you may find a local person with a lathe that can turn it. If you want us to email some machinists in your area or explain the slew hub then that is ok, we want you to succeed. Other than the two parts for machining the rest is basic fabrication such as cutting, drilling and welding of box sections and plates.
We can help you answer any questions about the fabrications. The off the shelf parts To keep the costs down we have bought off the shelf components. The main hydraulic parts are the control valve block, hydraulic pump, slew motor and the three hydraulic cylinders which in the US costs around a $80 each. Or you could look around and source second hand cylinders, the cylinders have a 8” stroke but for a small charge if you find three close to the right size we can redesign the digging arm to suit hydraulic cylinders that you have found or we can explain step by step how to modify your drawings for free. We have researched the parts and will give you the contact details of different suppliers.
The assembly. If you have a garage and some knowledge of basic fabrication you can make the parts within a week. The off the shelf components can be used if you have the time to search you can save a lot of money. When all the parts are delivered you will see they are not heavy or bulky and one person can assemble the machine in less than a day. The cost for parts are cheaper than the UK so if you do the work yourself materials cost around $1500 Disclaimer In no event shall the seller of these plans be liable for errors or omissions in plans, builder skill level or injury or death, including incidental, contingent or consequential damages to persons or property.
