Drott 40 Cruz-Air Wheeled Excavator

Assumed to be mid70's era machinery. GM Detroit Diesel power unit. Drove to where it is parked about 10yrs ago, weeds and briars have grown thru it. Mechanically functional. Engine smokes to best of memory until it gets hot, but runs for days.

Tires are worn and look to still hold air. Hydraulic system had no major leaks or bad hoses when parked. Transmission works but the shifting solenoid that was the weak link has been removed and has to manually be held in gear. Bought from Ky Dept of Transportation auction for farm work so i do not know actual hours. We used for 3 summers doing creek bank clearing.

Worked fine. Buyer responsible for pickup and mechanical prep to get it started. Buyer responsible for shipping. Other arrangements are available. Auction is only for machine as-is, where-is.

No batteries, new fuel, filters or anything mechanical labor wise. Those can be discussed with buyer, but it should fire right up with normal prep and strong batteries to crank it over.
