Kubota Mini Digger KX41 1.6t

2001 Kubota KX41-2S mini digger. We’re selling Ernie, our much enjoyed mini digger. We’ve had him for about 4yrs and he’s been invaluable around the garden digging out tree roots, moving earth, levelling ground and digging footings. As much as we love him, I’ve run out of reasons to keep him, and we have a holiday to pay for! A bit more about him: He’s a 2001 model with 3400hrs on the clock.

The clock still works so I’ve no reason to query the recorded hours. Temp and fuel gauges work. He’s piped for a breaker but I’ve never used the breaker so can’t say if it works or not. Starts immediately every single time, even in winter and even if he’s not been used for months. All controls work smoothly, with the exception of the boom pivot.

It slews on the main slew control, but for some reason, it doesn’t switch between slew and pivot. The light works so it’s possibly just a loose electrical connection on the actuator. Tracks are in very good condition It had a major service a couple of years ago (see receipt) and has only done about 100 hrs since. This included replacing the slew ring bolts - the slew ring itself was worn but didn’t need replacing. Genuine parts used.

As can be seen in the photos, it’s hardly in mint condition. Of course there’s wear in the bushes and it probably doesn’t have the digging capacity that it had when new, but it’s a good honest machine.
