John Deere 80C Hydraulic Excavator W/ Blade & Geith Thumb

Hello and up for sale we have a John Deere 80C excavator up for sale. I am unsure of the exact year. The machine is powered by a 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine. The engine starts easy and runs out strong. All hydraulic functions are strong and work properly.

The cab is missing some glass as pictured, but the cab sheet metal is straight. The machine has a Geith bucket and mechanical thumb. The shanks were trimmed to the buckets edge as you can see in the pictures due to the previous owners needs. The bucket needs shanks and teeth but is in nice shape. The pins and bushings in the machine are in good condition with respect to the hours.

The undercarriage is in nice shape however the rubber fell off the tracks pads as you can see. If you are looking for a cheaper, dependable midi excavator this is a good choice. If this machine was all fixed up most likely it would bring closer to the $30k mark. The previous owner claims the hours are original. Please view the youtube video below.

Since all items I sell are used it is very hard to guarantee anything. So all sales are as-is, where-is. I do my very best to fully describe all areas on the item including the good, the bad, and the ugly. I highly recommend everyone to come and inspect the item out before purchase. However if you buy the machine, come to my yard, operate the machine, and find out there are issues or problems with the item that was a false representation on my behalf you do not have to pay for the item.

I will make time to meet with whoever wants to come and view the equipment. I have a local third party heavy equipment repair company that is not associated with Elk Forest Farms, Inc.
