JCB3C2 Spares or Repairs 1972/3 I bought this JCB in 1996 to dig drains in the fields on our small farm. It came from a self build project and did not have a V5 document. It always starts well even after long periods of inactivity. However, the main problem is that the slew action on the back arm does not work. This is the reason I am selling it for spares or repairs.

I will list all the problems I am aware of first: Bad Points: BackArm: Slew action not working. One hydraulic ram slightly bent but still works. Some welding to hydraulic ram screw ends. Hydraulic locking mechanism not working. Engine: Smokes.

Dynamo does not charge. No battery but can start with tractor battery. Cab: One side window and metal support missing. No working instruments or lights. Seat usable but missing most of the padding.

Good Points: With the exception of the slew action and hydraulic locks all of the other hydraulics work including rear arm, front bucket and rear legs. Paintwork and the majority of the cab are fairly tidy for a 1972 machine. Front and rear buckets in good shape. One tooth missing on rear bucket. New lift pump fitted.
