Cat Caterpillar 428C Excavator Backhoe Digger Not Jcb

We are selling our Cat 428C powershift 4wd back hoe excavator. Everything and I do mean everything works perfectly on this machine. With this machine we will also include the following 6 genuine CAT buckets to suit this machine. Please note these were bought separately to the 428 but include Ditching, 1000mm digging, 2 number 600mm digging, 450mm digging, and 300mm digging This machine has got to be unique in the UK having done 591 hours total. Any test, trial or inspection will prove these as genuine hours.

We bought this for our contractor company for a specific long term project that has now been shelved as we are too busy. So surplus to requirements. That said we know this is a quality machine so we won't give it away. Anyone with knowledge will be able to see all the 'clapped out' machines available on the plant listings classifieds and what dealers want for the them. An up to date version of this machine would be 60 ish k.

This machine has only one issue which is some paint damage because it was stored outside for a fairly long period. If we were keeping it we would have had it sprayed. It would then effectively be a brand new machine. We decided not spray it before resale because then it might look like we had something we were trying to hide. Sprayed it would be as new and might suit a collector.

This is a well made bit of kit and much much stronger and better quality than the equivalent competitor machines. Starts first time with no fuss and the engine noise is lovely. This has every extra fitted inc 4wd, power shift gear box , extended digging arm, original stereo, 4 in 1 self levelling bucket, quick hitch etc Its not piped for use as a breaker and this as anyone will tell you is better for the longevity of the machine. If you need a quality backhoe which doesn't have the ECU issues of a more modern machine then give this serious consideration. If you want a lower 'tech' as new machine this is it.

We can even send a video with the machine being cold started and with all parts being used/moved if required. We would actively encourage you to view this machine because it really is that good. I understand there is strong demand in the USA for these machines and I can see why. Its a quality bit of kit. No more JCB's for us....
